Marketing Coordinator

This role is based in Farnborough, Hampshire with 2 days per week in the office. Our office is within walking distance of the train station and has free parking. This is a full-time position, however work life balance is important to us and so we are open to discussion on flexible working patterns (minimum 4 days per week).
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
Fixed term contract until October 2025
About the role:
- Day to day project management for brochure planning and production, including timelines and scheduling, liaising with designers, and print and mail management in all territories. Brochures are for UK and international audiences for Combi, Trade, Family and Polar.
- Ensure we are optimising brochure use and production to balance the needs of our prospects with our commitment to sustainability.
- Briefing all direct mail, working with designers, print and mail management. Recommend and implement test and learn initiatives to increase bookings.
- Event planning, delivery and onsite management of UK in-person events (such as trade shows). Work with event and stand companies, logistics, partners, and marketing.
- Support the marketing team in the delivery of objectives and work with people from all around the business in the UK, Canada and Australia to ensure projects run to time.
- Work closely with the Product team, our Creative Design Lead and external freelance designers to ensure projects and brochures run to time and within budget.
- Work with the Creative Design Lead to ensure all print marketing activity is on brand and the best it can be.
- Be a proactive member of the Marketing team and work collaboratively building relationships with key areas of the business and external suppliers in order to assist with the delivery of marketing objectives and become an ambassador for the brand.
- Work with the Media Executive on the management of our in-house image library, working to keep it up to date, GDPR compliant and making sure that all assets match our Ethical Marketing Guidelines.
Am I the right person? We are looking for your application to demonstrate:
- Understanding of marketing as a discipline.
- Proven experience managing the process of print production from design through to deployment, particularly for large formats such as brochures.
- An ability to think strategically & plan activity based on insight.
- Proactive about implementing new processes to improve performance.
- Experience of analysing results from activities and drawing key conclusions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Always demonstrates a positive attitude, even when under pressure.
- Good creative eye and a passion for producing beautiful, inspiring and commercially effective on-brand artwork.
- Confident in establishing relationships with suppliers & key stakeholders.
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong desire for accuracy and quality.
- Experienced with proof-reading and copy editing.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Committed to putting the customer at the centre of their work.
- Highly organised and capable of juggling many tasks at once.
- Able to challenge processes (and be challenged), keep to schedule and ensure work produced is of the highest standard.
- Enthusiastic team player with a passion for travel.
- Friendly, approachable and flexible with a strong ability to build a good repour with the wider Explore team and effectively communicate at all levels.
- A passion for the planet, and contributing to a more sustainable future.
- Flexibility to hold calls with colleagues overseas.
